Known Demo save path

On Windows, the current Demo metadata points to the local user profile under AppData/Local/PizzaHouseSimulator/Saved/SaveGames/. The folder may be hidden because AppData is hidden by default.

Back up the Demo save without editing it

    Close the game so it is not writing to the save folder.

    Open File Explorer and paste the Demo path into the address bar after expanding %USERPROFILE% automatically.

    Copy the entire SaveGames folder to a dated folder outside the game directory.

    Keep the original filenames and directory structure unchanged.

The historical money-reset fix

The first official Demo update says money resetting after save/load was fixed. If you see that symptom now, capture the current build, whether the save predates the update and whether a new save behaves the same way.

  • Do not delete a save folder before making a verified copy.

  • Do not rename or edit .sav files while the game is running.

  • Do not download replacement saves from unknown sources.

  • Do not assume Steam Cloud protects a file until cloud behavior is confirmed for the full game.
